兩天串起北島三種體驗
行程從懷託摩 黑水漂流 Black Water Rafting 開場，接著入住羅託魯瓦的 Koura Lodge，晚上到 Te Puia 參加毛利文化之夜，還有傳統石窯烤制的毛利大餐。
隔天一早直奔北島最經典的朝聖地——電影《霍位元人》拍攝地 哈比屯 Hobbiton。回程順路走了 Te Waihou 步道，最後回到奧克蘭，結束這趟橫跨南北島的蜜月自駕。
Koura Lodge 是這段的住宿點：第一天走 Waitomo、晚上到 Te Puia，第二天才去 Hobbiton，回奧克蘭前再走 Te Waihou。以羅托魯瓦過夜把兩天分開，比把三個活動寫成一張同日清單更接近這次走法。
Linking three North Island experiences over two days
Opening with Black Water Rafting in Waitomo, then checking into Koura Lodge in Rotorua. That evening we joined a Māori culture night at Te Puia, with a traditional hangi feast.
The next morning we headed straight to the North Island’s most iconic pilgrimage site — Hobbiton, the actual filming location from The Hobbit. We took a walk along the Te Waihou Walkway on the way back before returning to Auckland to close out this South-to-North Island honeymoon road trip.
Koura Lodge was the overnight stop: Waitomo and an evening at Te Puia came first, then Hobbiton and Te Waihou on the way back to Auckland the next day. The night in Rotorua separates the two days; these were not three activities on one day’s checklist.

黑水漂流Waitomo Black Water Rafting
懷託摩螢火蟲洞黑水漂流Tubing through the pitch-black glowworm caves of Waitomo
💡 「黑水漂流」名字裡的黑水，指的就是漆黑一片的地下洞穴河流，頭頂發光的其實是數千隻紐西蘭特有的螢火蟲幼蟲（Arachnocampa luminosa），只存在於紐西蘭與澳洲。The "black water" in the name refers to the pitch-black underground river inside the caves — the glow overhead comes from thousands of glowworm larvae (Arachnocampa luminosa), a species found only in New Zealand and Australia.
地熱谷奇觀加毛利戰舞 Haka 文化之夜A geothermal valley by day, a Māori Haka culture night by evening
💡 園區內的 Pōhutu 間歇泉是南半球最大的活躍間歇泉，一天最多噴發20次，噴發高度可達30米，是羅託魯瓦地熱景觀的招牌畫面。The Pōhutu Geyser on the grounds is the largest active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere, erupting up to 20 times a day and reaching heights of 30 meters — the signature image of Rotorua's geothermal landscape.
電影《霍位元人》真實拍攝地The real-life filming location from The Hobbit
💡 最初的片場只是2001年《魔戒》拍攝用的臨時佈景，本該拍完就拆除，但農場主向劇組請求保留。後來為了《霍位元人》三部曲，劇組把整個片場重建成永久版本，才有了今天能參觀的哈比屯。The original set was only meant to be temporary for the 2001 Lord of the Rings film and scheduled for demolition afterward — but the farm's owners asked to keep it. It was later rebuilt as a permanent, far more elaborate set for The Hobbit trilogy, which is what visitors tour today.
