把環島最後兩天留給西部
草皮屋博物館認識傳統建築，接著抵達冰島最上鏡的 教堂山 Kirkjufell，當晚運氣爆棚，看到滿天極光爆發式閃耀，是整趟旅程最感動的一夜。
隔天沿著懸崖海岸線走，Arnarstapi 巨人石像、孤獨的黑教堂 Búðakirkja、Ytri Tunga 沙灘看海豹，還意外在 Vegamot 吃到冰島的中式炒飯炒麵，也在 Hraunfossar 與 Barnafoss 雙瀑布前收下這段路最後的風景。
回到雷克雅未克的最後一晚，在 Sky Lagoon 完成七步驟療愈泡湯儀式，晚餐在 Íslenski Barinn 鼓起勇氣吃了傳說中的海鸚肉，為14天的冰島自駕畫下圓滿句點。
教堂山那晚的極光，和回城後的 Sky Lagoon，是這趟環島兩種截然不同的收尾：一個靠運氣遇見，一個留時間慢慢泡。極光不能預訂，泡湯卻可以成為最後一天的固定安排。
Saving the final two days for the west
A turf house museum for a lesson in traditional Icelandic building, then on to Iceland’s most photographed mountain, Kirkjufell. That night our luck peaked — the sky exploded with northern lights, easily the most moving night of the whole trip.
The next day we followed the cliffside coast — the Arnarstapi giant statue, the solitary black church Búðakirkja, seal-spotting at Ytri Tunga beach, and an unexpected Chinese-style fried rice and noodles at Vegamot, before closing out the drive at the twin waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
Our last night back in Reykjavik was the seven-step ritual at Sky Lagoon, followed by dinner at Íslenski Barinn where we finally worked up the nerve to try puffin meat — a fitting close to 14 days of driving around Iceland.
The aurora at Kirkjufell and the soak at Sky Lagoon gave this trip two very different endings: one arrived by chance, the other had time set aside for it. You cannot book the northern lights, but you can leave room for a final soak.

At just 463 meters, it's modest in height, yet it's one of the most photographed mountains in the world — and it appeared in Game of Thrones as "Arrowhead Mountain."

💡 Sky Lagoon 於2021年開幕，招牌的「七步驟療愈儀式」以無邊際泳池設計面朝北大西洋，最後一步是在落地窗桑拿房裡，一邊流汗一邊看著海平線，是整趟旅程最放鬆的句點。Sky Lagoon opened in 2021, and its signature "Seven-Step Ritual" is built around an infinity-edge pool facing the North Atlantic. The final step is a floor-to-ceiling-window sauna with an ocean-horizon view — the most relaxing possible way to close out the trip.
