下雨的早晨，先不要急著放棄
這天原本要跟 Paragliding Interlaken 體驗滑翔傘，早上卻下起大雨，活動一度像要取消。我們只能等候最新安排，讓營運團隊依風勢、雨勢和雲層決定能否起飛。戶外飛行最需要的不是硬闖，而是把時間表留出彈性。
最後天氣出現空檔，我們成功升空。穿過不同高度的雲層後，Interlaken、湖泊和山谷在腳下重新展開。剛才還令人失望的雨雲，到了空中反而把景色切成一層一層，成為這次飛行最戲劇化的部分。
等候空檔去 Iseltwald
行程調動期間，我們去了 Iseltwald，尋找《愛的迫降》出現過的木棧橋。沒有擁擠人潮時，湖邊比電視劇打卡點更像一個安靜的小村；拍完熟悉的構圖後，單純沿湖停留也很舒服。
回到 Interlaken 後，我們到 Truly Asia 吃泰式打拋飯。連續吃了幾天歐洲餐後，這頓熟悉的亞洲味道來得正好，價錢也相對輕鬆。
這一天的重點不是「下雨也一定飛得到」，而是不要把滑翔傘和不可移動的行程綁得太緊。跟隨營運團隊的安全判斷，並準備一個附近的雨天備案，等待便不會完全變成浪費。
A rainy morning with no guaranteed flight
We were due to fly with Paragliding Interlaken, but heavy morning rain made cancellation seem likely. All we could do was wait for an update while the operator assessed the rain, wind and cloud. With an outdoor flight, flexibility is more useful than determination; the safety decision belongs to the people running it.
Eventually, a workable opening appeared and we took off. Passing through cloud at different heights revealed Interlaken, the lakes and the valley beneath us. The weather that had been frustrating on the ground gave the view an unexpectedly dramatic series of layers in the air.
Using the waiting time for Iseltwald
While the schedule was shifting, we visited Iseltwald and found the wooden pier featured in Crash Landing on You. Without a crowd around it, the lakefront felt less like a television location and more like a quiet village. Recreating the familiar view took only a moment; lingering beside the lake was the more rewarding part.
Back in Interlaken, we stopped at Truly Asia for Thai basil rice. After several days of European food, the familiar Asian flavours arrived at exactly the right time and at a relatively easy price.
Our day does not prove that waiting through rain will always produce a flight. The practical lesson is to avoid fastening a paragliding booking to an immovable schedule. Follow the operator’s call and keep a nearby weather-proof alternative ready, so a delayed decision does not turn into an entirely lost day.
