早晨留給 Lauterbrunnen
酒店退房後，我們沒有立刻離開，而是先在 Lauterbrunnen 勞特布龍嫩 走一圈。村莊位於高崖之間，瀑布從兩側落進山谷；即使沒有安排特定活動，沿著村內步行已能看到它最有辨識度的畫面。
這種地方不適合只停在車站拍一張照片。多走一小段，房屋、教堂、瀑布和崖壁之間的比例才會慢慢展開，也更能理解大家為甚麼把它稱作童話小鎮。
拖著行李轉往 Grindelwald
接著帶著行李前往 Grindelwald 格林德瓦，入住 Hotel Cabana。抵達後遇上雪地，我們沒有再安排複雜行程，只是在附近打雪仗、享受跟早上峽谷完全不同的冬日氣氛。
一天內轉換城鎮的最大成本其實是行李。若走同樣路線，住宿和車站之間的距離比多塞一個景點更值得先確認；輕裝會讓中途散步容易很多。
芝士火鍋替這一天收尾
晚上到 Barrys Restaurant 吃瑞士芝士火鍋 Fondue。濃厚芝士放在一整天的冬日步行後，比單純為了「到瑞士必吃」更有說服力。
這不是行程最刺激的一天，卻可能是節奏最舒服的一天：早上看山谷瀑布，下午在雪地玩，晚上坐下吃一鍋熱食。Lauterbrunnen 和 Grindelwald 放在同一天，重點不是趕，而是讓兩種山村景色自然接在一起。
A morning for Lauterbrunnen
After checking out, we kept the morning for Lauterbrunnen rather than leaving immediately. The village sits between sheer cliffs, with waterfalls dropping into the valley on both sides. No complicated activity was required; an ordinary walk already revealed the landscape that makes the village so recognisable.
It is worth going farther than the station for a quick photograph. With a little distance, the houses, church, waterfalls and rock walls settle into their proper scale, and the familiar “fairytale village” description begins to make sense.
Moving on to Grindelwald
We then continued to Grindelwald with our luggage and checked into Hotel Cabana. Snow gave the afternoon a completely different atmosphere, so instead of forcing another major attraction into the day, we stayed nearby and had a snowball fight.
The real inconvenience of combining towns is usually the luggage. Anyone following the same route should check the distance between accommodation and station before adding another stop; travelling light makes the spontaneous walks much easier.
Fondue at the end of the day
Dinner at Barrys Restaurant was traditional Swiss cheese fondue. After hours outside in winter, the rich, hot meal made more sense than eating it simply because fondue appears on a Swiss checklist.
This was not the most adventurous day of the trip, but it may have had the most comfortable rhythm: waterfalls in the morning, snow in the afternoon and a shared pot of fondue at night. Pairing Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald worked because their two mountain-village moods followed one another naturally.

瀑布峽谷環繞的童話小鎮A fairytale village ringed by waterfalls and cliffs
💡 小鎮地標史陶河瀑布 Staubbach Falls 落差達297米，是瑞士最高的自由落體瀑布之一。1779年歌德造訪此地後深受震撼，還特地為它寫了一首詩。The village's landmark Staubbach Falls drops 297 meters, making it one of Switzerland's highest free-falling waterfalls. Goethe was so struck by it during his 1779 visit that he wrote a poem about it.
