火山口健行、爬上火山口挑戰暴風、熔岩迷宮，還有《權力的遊戲》真實取景地 Grjótagjá 洞穴溫泉。農場餐廳 Vogafjós 的羊肉湯無限續碗，是整趟旅程價效比最高的一餐。
隔天專程去看歐洲水量最大、氣勢最猛的 黛提瀑布 Dettifoss，水霧撲面而來非常震撼，再到寧靜的賞鯨小鎮 Húsavík 走走，最後在夕陽時刻抵達金色的 眾神瀑布 Goðafoss，是我們心目中冰島瀑布排名的第一名。
從火山地貌到瀑布奇觀，這兩天幾乎濃縮了冰島北部最精華的地質景觀。

Two different sides of North Iceland
Hiking crater rows, climbing a windswept volcano, a lava maze, and Grjótagjá, a real Game of Thrones filming cave with a hot spring inside. The farm restaurant Vogafjós, with its bottomless lamb soup, was the best value meal of the whole trip.
The next day we made the trip to see Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall by volume — the spray hits you from meters away — followed by a walk through the peaceful whale-watching town of Húsavík, and finally arriving at golden-hour Goðafoss as the sun set. Our personal pick for Iceland’s best waterfall.
From volcanic terrain to waterfall spectacle, these two days packed in the best of North Iceland’s geology.
These two days took us from Mývatn’s volcanic terrain to Húsavík and finally Goðafoss at sunset. Rather than ranking every waterfall in Iceland, we can say this: Goðafoss was our favourite on this trip.

💡 1970年代克拉夫拉火山噴發前，這裡曾是熱門泡湯地點，噴發後洞穴水溫一度飆到50°C以上，多年不適合下水。這裡也是《權力的遊戲》中瓊恩雪諾與耶哥蕊特洞穴戲的真實取景地。Before the Krafla volcanic eruptions in the 1970s, this cave was a popular bathing spot — but the eruptions pushed the water temperature above 50°C, making it too hot to bathe in for years. It's also the real filming location for Jon Snow and Ygritte's cave scene in Game of Thrones.

💡 黛提瀑布曾出現在雷利·史考特執導的電影《普羅米修斯》開場畫面中，磅礴的水量與荒涼的地貌是它成為科幻電影取景地的最大原因。Dettifoss appeared in the opening scene of Ridley Scott's Prometheus — its sheer water volume and stark, alien-looking terrain make it a favorite for sci-fi filming.

💡 「眾神瀑布」的名字來自一個傳說：公元1000年冰島正式改信基督教後，當時的法律宣讀官索爾蓋爾把北歐諸神的雕像丟進了這座瀑布，象徵與舊信仰的告別。The name "Waterfall of the Gods" comes from a legend: after Iceland officially converted to Christianity in the year 1000 AD, the lawspeaker Þorgeir is said to have thrown statues of the old Norse gods into the falls, marking a symbolic break from the old faith.
