從 Grindelwald 一路上山
這一天的目的地是 Grindelwald First。從 Grindelwald 轉乘纜車上山，景色愈升愈開揚，真正的挑戰則在抵達山上之後才開始。
先飛，再走到懸崖外
第一站是 First Flyer。它不是慢慢觀景的纜車，而是沿鋼索直接滑下山坡；出發前等待的時間，反而比真正滑出去後更讓人緊張。速度拉起來後，腳下的山谷和遠處山峰一下子全展開，短短一程已經足以成為當天最直接的腎上腺素來源。
接著走上 First Cliff Walk。步道沿著崖壁伸展，部分位置懸在山谷上方。這裡不需要專業登山技巧，但怕高的人仍會明顯感受到腳下的空間。慢慢走、不要急著越過前面的人，反而更能好好看景。
山上的食物選擇要先想好
山上主要的用餐選擇是 Berggasthaus First。如果不打算在餐廳用餐，可以像我們一樣預先準備杯麵或零食，不要等到抵達山頂才臨時找選擇。這晚入住 Hotel Cabana，晚餐也以自己帶來的辛拉麵和 Coop 杯麵簡單解決。
如果 First Flyer 和 Cliff Walk 都想玩，這裡值得留出完整半天，並在出發前查看設施與天氣狀況。它們相距不遠，但排隊、纜車和停下來看風景，都比地圖上看起來更需要時間。
Up from Grindelwald
The destination for this day was Grindelwald First. The cable car steadily opened up the view above Grindelwald, but the activities that made the day memorable only began after we reached the mountain.
First Flyer, then the cliff
Our first challenge was the First Flyer. This is not a gentle sightseeing ride: the zipline releases you down the mountainside with the valley beneath your feet. Waiting to launch was more intimidating than the ride itself. Once moving, the speed took over and the mountain panorama opened almost at once.
Next came the First Cliff Walk, a metal walkway tracing the rock face with sections suspended above the valley. It does not require technical hiking ability, although anyone uneasy with heights will still feel the exposure. Moving slowly made it easier to take in the setting instead of treating the walkway as something to rush through.
Plan food before reaching the top
The main mountain dining option was Berggasthaus First. Travellers who do not plan to eat there should bring snacks or something simple rather than expecting a wide choice at the summit. We had packed our own Shin Ramyun and Coop cup noodles, and later stayed at Hotel Cabana.
Allow at least half a day if both the Flyer and Cliff Walk matter to you. The attractions sit in the same mountain area, but cable cars, queues and the inevitable stops for the view make the visit longer than it appears on a map. Check weather and operating status before setting out.

💡 懸崖步道 First Cliff Walk 於2015年啟用，最外側的觀景平臺懸空延伸出岩壁外45米，走到盡頭腳下就是萬丈懸崖，是這一帶最刺激的打卡點。The First Cliff Walk opened in 2015, with its outermost viewing platform jutting 45 meters out from the cliff face — walk to the end and there's nothing but open air beneath your feet, making it one of the area's most thrilling spots.
