🇨🇭瑞士Switzerland從格林德瓦搭火車三個半小時抵達策馬特，這裡全鎮禁止燃油車，只能靠電動車代步。A three-and-a-half-hour train from Grindelwald brought us to Zermatt — a town that bans combustion-engine cars entirely, everything runs on electric vehicles.

三個半小時，把風景從 Grindelwald 帶到 Zermatt
從 Grindelwald 前往 Zermatt 的火車旅程約三個半小時，中途經 Spiez，再到 Visp 轉車。這看似只是移動日，沿途景色卻沒有空白：湖泊、山谷和小鎮一路在車窗外接替出現。
把轉車站和次序先記好，整段路其實不複雜。抵達 Zermatt 後，最明顯的轉變是街上沒有一般燃油車，取而代之的是步行和小型電動車，村內的聲音也跟其他旅遊城鎮很不一樣。
第一次在村內看到馬特洪峰
我們入住 Alpenlodge，從住宿和鎮上的步行路線已能看到 Matterhorn 馬特洪峰 經典的金字塔輪廓。這一天沒有立刻衝上觀景臺，反而只是慢慢走、從不同街角確認山峰的位置。
天氣清朗時，馬特洪峰不是一個需要特地「到達」的景點；它會不時出現在屋頂和街道之間。午餐選了策馬特的 McDonald’s，最普通的一餐，因窗外山景而變得很有記憶點。
不要低估移動日
如果住宿本身有好景觀，抵達 Zermatt 的第一天下午不必硬塞昂貴活動。先入住、熟悉無車村的路線，再把體力留給翌日上山，節奏會更舒服。這天最好的安排，就是沒有急著把策馬特一次看完。
Three and a half scenic hours to Zermatt
The train journey from Grindelwald to Zermatt took roughly three and a half hours, travelling via Spiez and changing again at Visp. Although this was technically a transfer day, the view never felt empty: lakes, valleys and small towns replaced one another outside the window.
Once the sequence of connections was clear, the trip itself was straightforward. The most obvious change on reaching Zermatt was the absence of conventional petrol cars. Walking and small electric vehicles give the village a noticeably different atmosphere from other busy resort towns.
Our first Matterhorn view
We checked into Alpenlodge, where the view and an ordinary walk through town already revealed the Matterhorn’s familiar pyramid profile. Rather than immediately paying for a mountain excursion, we spent the arrival afternoon finding the peak between rooftops and at the ends of streets.
On a clear day, the Matterhorn does not feel like a sight that exists at only one viewpoint; it keeps returning as you move through the village. Even lunch at Zermatt’s McDonald’s became memorable because of the mountain scenery around it.
Let the transfer day remain simple
If your accommodation has a good view, there is no need to force an expensive activity into the first afternoon. Checking in, learning the car-free village layout and saving energy for the following day’s mountain trip gave us a much better rhythm. The best part of this arrival day was not trying to finish Zermatt as soon as we reached it.

💡 馬特洪峰是阿爾卑斯山最危險的山峰之一，1865年首次登頂成功當天，下山途中四名隊員意外墜亡。它標誌性的金字塔造型，也啟發了1959年迪士尼樂園「馬特洪峰雪橇」——世界上第一座鋼管軌道過山車。The Matterhorn is one of the deadliest peaks in the Alps — on the very day of its first successful ascent in 1865, four climbers fell to their deaths during the descent. Its iconic pyramid shape also inspired Disneyland's 1959 Matterhorn Bobsleds, the world's first tubular steel roller coaster.
